Your signup

When signups are open, submitting the form sends your email address to Buttondown, the newsletter provider. It also records the form’s location on the site, the submission time, and the version of the consent wording. The newsletter checkbox starts unchecked.

You can download the starter kit after a successful submission. A confirmation email asks you to verify your address before receiving occasional filmmaking tips and new-resource announcements. You can unsubscribe using the link in newsletter emails. StoryTable does not sell the email addresses collected through this form.

Download access

A temporary cookie lets this browser download the kit for one hour after a successful signup. It contains a signed access token, not your email address. It is used to deliver the resource you requested.

Analytics and your drafts

The site includes Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics. The cookie banner controls Google’s analytics-storage consent. Starter-kit signup and download-click events are sent to Google Analytics only when you have accepted analytics cookies; those events contain the resource and form placement, not your email.

The online writing tools keep your draft text in the page’s memory. The signup form does not include your logline, screenplay beats, or shot-list contents. Read Vercel’s analytics privacy information for details of its traffic reporting.
